ABOUT BRETT

Brett Jensen is a lifelong conservative who is involved in several community and political organizations throughout The 8th Congressional District and Houston, and his biggest priority is being a devoted father to his 6-year-old daughter, Natalie, who he is raising alongside his wife, Cassidy.

Brett attended the University of Chicago, known for its rigorous intellectual environment, and emphasis on analytical thinking. Most importantly, it was known for being a key defender of capitalism and free market principles, fighting against the spread of communism and socialism in America and the free world. While in school, he founded a software company that developed one of the first web content management systems, that was used by several Fortune 500 clients.

After selling the business in his twenties, Brett began a career in energy, building several successful businesses in E&P, midstream transportation, and oil services. These business created thousands of jobs and provided significant economic impact on many small communities throughout south and west Texas. Today, Brett has mostly divested from the energy business and runs a small office with primary interests in real estate, finance and venture capital.

He has been active in supporting conservative candidates and causes including Turning Point USA and President Trump in 2016.

Defending Capitalism

Capitalism has the unique ability to unleash the human spirit of creativity and innovation. The power of free markets and entrepreneurship changed the trajectory of Brett’s life just as it has for countless other Americans. Capitalism and the nation of small businesses it fosters have lifted generations of Americans out of poverty and allowed them to leave their children better off. Now, the radical left wants to destroy the greatness of America by implementing socialism and giving the government control of our lives. Brett understands that we cannot take the American dream for granted and that for too many it now seems unachievable. That’s why he will vigorously defend capitalism, entrepreneurship, so that CD 08, and our nation, will stay prosperous and strong for generations to come.

Standing With President Trump to Deport Criminal Illegals

President Trump sealed our borders in historic time but sadly, because of Biden’s open border policies there are more than 400,000 criminal illegals in our country today. As your next congressman Brett will give the Trump Administration the resources, they need to deport criminal illegals, gang members, so that our communities can be safer once and for all. That also means giving our local law enforcement officers the tools they need to assist in deporting dangerous illegals out of our communities.

As an experienced businessman in the energy sector, Brett knows firsthand that we must unleash American energy. That also means ending the radical green energy policies that kill our jobs and endanger our future. More American energy means better jobs and lower costs for families in Congressional District 8.
